Precious Just a short while ago a very special kitten came to The Animal Haven. Soon after she was with us it was discovered that she had a serious liver condition that would shorten her life considerably. The doctors said without surgery it was likely she would not live beyond 2-years old. Like any other surgery, there was no guarantee that the surgery would be successful, and would be extremely expensive. However it was the only chance for this sweet little kitten to survive. We asked all of our wonderful members and supporters to help fund her surgery. Your generous donations to our “Precious Fund” made it possible for Precious to have her much needed surgery. It is with great pleasure we would like to tell you that the surgery was successful! Precious is doing very well. She will always be a “special needs” cat and will require tests throughout her life, but due to your much-appreciated generosity, Precious has a chance at life…. a chance that would never have been possible without your generosity. The Board of Directors and staff at Animal Haven would like to thank everyone for opening your hearts and helping us to help Precious.
